Val Hemenway’s career has spanned criminal justice, sociology, operating a daycare business, and years of managing affordable housing for seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families. In practice, each of those roles reinforced the same skill: caring for people who depend on you to handle the details with diligence, accuracy, and trust.
