    JOB TITLE: Financial Planner

    DEPARTMENT: Financial Planning Team

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position supports all firm employees who meet with clients by gathering, analyzing, preparing, and updating the client’s financial information needed for meetings on an ongoing basis from information and data received from other employees and/or clients directly.
     
     
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    1. Prepare items for client meetings (investment, estate, income, retirement, and other).
    2. Gather, process, and update client financial plans and information received from other team members, account custodians, or clients on an ongoing basis.
    3. Collect information directly from clients via phone, in-person, or through a questionnaire and following-up with clients as necessary.
    4. Evaluate, analyze, and work with advisors and/or clients directly to identify, communicate, and help implement tax savings opportunities for clients.
    5. Assist team members with maintaining and monitoring each client’s financial website including answering client questions, fixing connections, and uploading documents.
    6. Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of securities, investments and investment products, securities markets, financial planning, securities regulations and firm policies/procedures.
    7. Manage, prioritize, and follow-through on multiple projects simultaneously.
    8. Train and pass on knowledge to other firm team members.
    9. Maintain confidentiality of all items, client and firm related, at all times.
     
    ACCOUNTABILITY

    Responsible for completing assigned tasks, gathering and maintaining client financial information, and preparing for meetings.
     
     
    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Office environment; no unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Occasional travel to attend client events, seminars, and training.
     
     
    QUALIFICATIONS 
    1. Education: High School with a BA or BS degree (or equivalent experience preferred).
    2. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
    3. Computer proficiency in various software programs. Familiarity with financial software preferred.
    4. Be able to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast paced environment.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position supports all firm employees by ensuring the upkeep of our firm's software and hardware, researching new and efficient technologies, and educating employees once new processes are implemented.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Ensure existing technologies are working properly and resolve issues as they arise.
    2. Develop workflows and integrations to create efficiencies for all departments.
    3. Research new technologies, maintain all systems, and monitor upcoming technology trends.
    4. Coordinate hardware and software installation and any necessary upgrades for the firm.
    5. Function as firm communication liaison among all firm technology vendors.
    6. Oversee all data security measures and policies as set forth in Data Security Plan.
    7. Manage, prioritize, and follow-through on multiple projects simultaneously.
    8. Train and pass on knowledge to other firm team members.
    9. Maintain confidentiality of all items, client and firm related, at all times.

  • Marketing Associate - Intern

    JOB TITLE: Marketing Associate (Intern)

    DEPARTMENT: Marketing Department

    LOCATION: Altoona

    REPORTS TO: Marketing Director


    JOB SUMMARY

    This position works with the Marketing and Sales teams to advance the firm's goals related to growing our client base, and communicating with potential and existing clients.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Assist with the development of marketing and sales pieces for client onboarding, educational events, and ongoing newsletters for existing clients (may include writing, editing, design, working with vendors, etc.)
    2. Assist with trade shows and events, booth setup and materials, development of speaker presentations, follow up with potential clients, and other event coordination duties as assigned.
    3. Assist with the compliance approval process, including logging all marketing materials, scanning documents for recordkeeping, and working with staff to make updates as needed.
    4. Maintain email marketing and CRM databases, tracking responses to various marketing campaigns, recording event attendance, and accurately inputting new leads and sources.
    5. Manage, prioritize, and follow-through on multiple projects simultaneously.
    6. Assist with maintaining the firm's online presence, including the website, digital campaigns, and social media profiles.
    7. Maintain confidentiality of all items, client and firm related, at all times.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Office environment; no unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Occasional travel to attend client events, seminars, and training. Some evenings or early mornings may be required.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Education: High School with at least one year of higher education in a communications / marketing / journalism or other related business program.
    2. Demonstrated proficiency in various office software programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    3. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills with high attention to detail.
    4. Demonstrated ability to work with a team to solve complex problems.
    5. Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction, manage time effectively to complete deadlines, and manage projects from start to finish.
    6. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in a fast-paced environment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Basic proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator; an eye for effective designs, layouts.
    2. Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, basic HTML/CSS, or other web languages/technologies.
    3. Ability to read and analyze reports from database systems like Salesforce, Google Analytics, or similar.
    4. Knowledge of securities, investments and investment products, securities markets, financial planning, securities regulations, or other areas related to finance.
