Liam studied Actuarial Science at the University of Minnesota, with minors in Statistics and Insurance, and discovered somewhere along the way that the financial side of the work was what he wanted to spend his career doing. Studying for the Society of Actuaries Financial Mathematics Exam made that clear.
At the firm, Liam prepares financial profiles and supporting documents for prospective client meetings, reviews current client accounts, and assists advisors with a range of planning projects. He has become the go-to person for advanced Monte Carlo scenarios, the kind of in-depth analytical work that requires both technical precision and genuine curiosity about how the numbers fit together. His colleagues would describe him as a reliable hand with sharp attention to detail who gets things done when a deadline is tight.
What surprises people is how much analysis and problem-solving the role actually requires. Every client’s situation is different, and the analysis has to be too.
What he finds most satisfying is seeing a prospect become a client after he has spent time preparing for several of their meetings. Knowing his work helped move things forward is what makes a day feel worthwhile.
Outside the office, Liam explores the Twin Cities with his fiancé, friends, and family, and is a devoted Packers, Brewers, and Timberwolves fan. People who know him well would tell you he can also pinpoint nearly every country on a map and match most of them to their flags, a skill he once put to use in competitive GeoGuessr tournaments.
