Laurie Jacobson has been the first voice clients hear at Bernicke Wealth Management for more than 20 years. She answers calls, greets everyone who walks through the door, schedules meetings, and makes sure people get where they need to go, all with the kind of warmth that turns a first impression into a lasting one. She loves visiting with clients, and anyone who calls or stops by the office quickly discovers that!
Her path here ran through retail, banking, and a few years away from customer service, which reminded her how much she missed it. Her marketing degree from CVTC helped her see what she already knew: connecting with people is not just something she enjoys, it is something she is genuinely good at.
What has surprised her most about working here is how many people it takes to serve one client well, and how every role, from technology to advising to the front desk, shapes a client’s experience.
She also has a collection of more than 800 movies, with a soft spot for Disney and Rankin and Bass Christmas classics. That same appreciation for creating memorable moments extends beyond her movie collection. For the past 15 years, she has helped carry on a family tradition of donating new Halloween costumes to a local elementary school each year.
