Kolton Dupey came to Bernicke from the telecom and fiber connectivity industry, where he built a background in IT networking. What began as a technology role gradually grew into something broader. Today, he oversees the firm’s technology, marketing, and sales strategy, an evolution he describes as an unexpected blessing that taught him a lot about how a business really grows.
Much of what he does runs quietly in the background, shaping the experience clients have without them ever seeing the gears turn. He’s focused on finding the best processes and refining the firm’s strategy, always looking for ways to improve efficiency so that nothing slips through the cracks for advisors or clients along the way. The systems advisors rely on to serve clients smoothly, the marketing that may have led you to the website, the process that helped move you from a first impression to a real conversation, Kolton has had a hand in much of it. His colleagues would describe him as direct, dependable, and someone who tends to find the right solution.
Outside the office, you’ll often find Kolton hunting, fishing, or spending time with family and friends. He also qualified for a national powerlifting competition, which fits well with how his colleagues describe him: calm, steady, and someone you can count on to get the job done.
