Janelle Patenaude is the reason the details are right. She manages the seminars and client events that bring the Bernicke community together, handling venues, speakers, entertainment, food, and everything in between. She also puts together the client newsletter and the Bernicke Bulletin, an internal newsletter that keeps the team connected across all office locations. When months of organizing come together and clients leave an event saying they had a great time, that’s the part of the job that makes it worthwhile.
She studied journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which turns out to be a natural fit for work that lives or dies on clear communication and knowing your audience. Her background spans decades of marketing, communications, project management, and event coordination.
Outside the office, Janelle can be found reading, walking on the trails, traveling with her husband and two children, or spending Friday nights around the campfire with her neighbors. She volunteers, donates to charities, and supports community fundraising efforts for children and families, raised with the belief that you use your gifts and time to help others.
