Brigs Richartz attended the University of St. Thomas on a full D1 athletic scholarship and earned a degree in Business Operations and Supply Chain Management, with a minor in Data Analytics. After graduation, Brigs joined the Bernicke Wealth Management Financial Planning team, drawn by a culture that felt collaborative from the start. His educational background has proven valuable at Bernicke Wealth Management, where effective data management is recognized as a cornerstone of delivering high-quality client service.
Brigs excels at providing top-notch client service. He works diligently by assisting clients via phone calls, attending meetings, and preparing account-related paperwork. His attention to detail allows advisors to focus entirely on clients, with every detail organized and most questions already anticipated.
What surprised Brigs most is that the Paraplanner role means being part of the entire process, not just supporting it from a distance. Sitting in on meetings and working directly with advisors has helped shape his understanding of Wealth Management, which includes not only investment management, but also implementation of a variety of client-specific tax strategies and retirement income planning.
Outside the office, Brigs hunts, golfs, and spends summer days on the lake with family and friends. He also plays in competitive men’s league hockey tournaments with his brother, Blais, who also happens to be his coworker.
