Marketing Associate – Altoona, WI

Position Overview

Department: Marketing
Location: Altoona, WI
Reports to: Director of Technology & Marketing
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week – Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional evenings.

JOB SUMMARY

This position owns the firm’s social media presence and produces the design and creative work behind our events, advertising, website, and client materials. This role works closely with the marketing team to turn campaigns and educational content into finished material that reaches prospective and current clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the firm’s social media presence across all channels, including channel strategy, platform mix, and content timelines.
  • Write, design, schedule, and publish all social media content.
  • Report social media performance and recommend adjustments to improve reach and engagement.
  • Produce graphic design across digital and print, including seminar collateral, client-facing documents and packets, email templates, website graphics, and internal pieces.
  • Create advertising creative and variant sets for paid social and digital campaigns.
  • Design educational resources, and repurpose into social posts, email content, and seminar handouts.
  • Maintain brand standards for logo, color, typography, and usage, and review materials for brand consistency.
  • Submit content for compliance review, complete the recommended revisions, and resubmit prior to publication.
  • Support the marketing team on event production, campaign launches, and other projects as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all items, client and firm related, at all times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Professional office environment. Occasional travel to attend client events, seminars, and training. Some evenings or early mornings may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High School with a BA or BS degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred).
  • 2+ years managing social media for a business, with a portfolio showing both design work and channels you personally ran.
  • Work proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience designing email templates in a marketing email platform, and familiarity with financial software, are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
